Melanie | 5 comments I'm reading We Need to Talk About Kevin by Lionel Shriver. This was the winner of the Women's Prize for Fiction in 2005.

Ooohh ... Lionel Shriver's books are always thought-provoking, and this was no exception. There's no one else quite like her.

I finished this last night, just under the wire for September. Wow. This will be one of those books that I need to chew on for awhile.

Sarah A bit late in posting this update, but in September I read Piranesi by Susanna Clarke, which was just astonishingly good. It had only just received the Women's Prize for Fiction a few days before I started reading it.

This one looks so good. I think I'll read it for next years challenge.

Simone (simonec75) September was the month of another read from my Around the World in 80 Books list. I try to read more books from foreign and also lesser known authors. My September read won the Kathleen Mitchell Award in 2014: Beneath the Darkening Sky
