Loved this book, second read by this author. My review here:

Highly recommended!
I read Take me home tonight, about two high school students who visit New York for the night and encounter lots of adventures. The story partly takes place at their high school. I liked it, though some of the adventures were a bit far-fetched. The girls learn a lot during that night. Challenge complete.
Challenge complete. I highly recommend this book, of short stories several of which fit this month's theme. The most prominent is "Secret Samantha" with "Sol Painting Inc." a close second. I love the diversity of cultures and viewpoints that when combined with the relatable YA characters bring us a powerful story. So many of these take time to remind our YA main characters that a parent's love is so much more than a trifle and often goes unseen during the throes of adolescence. A must-read that will be joining my personal library and most likely finding its way into my classroom.
Challenge complete. A truly lovely book, "To Serve Them All My Days" is a quintessential teacher's story. To Serve Them All My Days by R. F. Delderfield
Completed the September challenge by reading another installment in the Lady Eleanor Swift series. This time I read: A Lesson in Murder
