Evelyn headed into the security area. "There must be some reason why the 'clones' keep getting in" She thought aloud and started flipping through the screens.
"Okay." Caledonia, now inside the security room after her ridiculous exchange with that sphere, looked around and felt some of the tension in her shoulders ease. Just a little, since she still hated this whole situation, but at least the room had monitors and computers.
She walked over and sat down at one of the nearest ones and worked to gain access to the footage of the hallways and that room in the base from the past three hours.
She walked over and sat down at one of the nearest ones and worked to gain access to the footage of the hallways and that room in the base from the past three hours.
The computer did everything she wanted it to, and with lightning quick speed. Faint whispering filled the room, then cut out.
"What the heck was that?" She demanded out loud, and set one of her guns on the table in front of her as she pulled up and watched the footage. So Dark had been here. And...she got chills as she realized Alianna had been teamed up with him. But since when? Caledonia leaned back in her seat, eyes narrowed. So Alianna wasn't just a bully, she was evil...and wanted to kill her. Well of course, how can this day get any better?. And Jag! That was the prisoner, so the helicopter must have gone down because of Alianna--an apparent powered individual--and Dark. And oh, there was Keith, and...Kral? She rewound the footage and watched Jag and Alianna die again, not that she wanted to. So Kral had done this. And was now on the loose somewhere.
"Well crap," she spat, and then massaged her head, mind spinning. Since when was Alianna evil? Had this always been the case? The blonde was vicious, that Caledonia knew. She was sadistic enough to be evil, Cal supposed, but still. She stared at the image on the screen she'd paused it on: Alianna getting stabbed. But that's when she felt a shiver of shock and dread. Her green eyes narrowed on the gun in Alianna's holster. Cal zoomed in and felt her stomach drop. That gun. That wasn't a SHIELD gun. Alianna was Hydra.
And for some reason, Caledonia lost it and burst out laughing.

((does she know keith and kral share a body?))
The voice said, "Yeah, it was pretty intense. Wish I coulda done something to help."

((yeah. From the footage and the showdown at SHIELD I think))
Caledonia grabbed her gun and cocked it. "Reveal yourself!"

((k, just chexking))
The voice whirred, "Dude, chill out. I've been here the whole time. You were just touching me. Tippity tapping away at my keys. Or, some of them at least." A teenage male walked into view from one of the screens. He waved, him only being about five inches tall in the computer, "Names Hub."

((no worries))
Caledonia raised a brow. "Agent Hayden," she stated dryly, the lie she'd told her whole life. "SHIELD." She lowered the gun. "So you're a computer, evidently? Honestly, I'm just here for the footage and I'm good to go." She stood up, hoping Hub would leave her alone.

((Evelyn used the security from the ship to hack back into SHIELD's security..))
Evelyn never took her eyes off the screens.

((ooooh, so shes hacking into hub from the ship. Gotcha))
Hub shook his head, "More than a computer. I'm an entire personality comprised of -- hold up." Somebody was hacking into his system. He vanished from sight, and located the hacker. He muttered, "Space? Eh, no matter." He sent a message to the hacker: Please exit my system or I'll be forced to remove you.

((wait so is she hacking into this base/the Hub or SHIELD?))
Caledonia carefully took this opportunity to work to pull up current footage of Matt and that shark. She honestly found herself amazed at how gentle he was being with her. If someone followed her and got hostile it would be a messy situation, not to mention she was already angry. It was probably a good thing Matt was the one talking to her and not Caledonia, who definitely would have been holding an ICER on the girl. But she grew impatient watching. She wanted to get to the Tower and get the tome. Use it. And then track down Kral and kill him so she could put all this to rest behind her.

Hub managed to force whoever was trying to hack in out. He implemented a load of new security measures and hoops to jump through. It gave an annoyed huff, then refocused his attention on Caledonia, "So, why are you in here again?"
She sighed. "I'm in Security because something killed a bunch of people out there and I now know what it was. I'm here in the base because--" She paused and shook her head, biting her bottom lip. She let out a half amused chuckle that had everything to do with the disbelief this day was bringing her, the grief, and the exhaustion that was setting in. "Because Matt said he knew a way he could bring back someone I lost and others I work with. And he needed to make a stop here."
Hub gave an, "Ahh," of understanding. It said, "Yeah, it was pretty bad. I wish I coulda done something. Not much a two inch tall persona comprised of ones and zeroes could do though." He fell silent and said, "Yeah, I know what you're talking about. The Book of Despair. Damon told me about it." He again fell silent, and then continued, "Just don't hurt Keith when you find him. He only did it out of grief. He and Jag were really close.
The agent drummed her fingers on the table. She was silent for a moment as she thought about how to respond to his request. Finally, she gave a one shouldered shrug. "Honestly? I...kind of get it. Why he snapped. My rage at Dark was...I think I scared Matt a little. But that's the other thing. Dark was an entity, right? So I had less concern killing him, or what I thought was him, over and over and over. Though I have sent many agents to the infirmary in a rage, so...still. I can't promise you that I won't hurt Keith. I won't kill him because my agency tries to capture and not kill, but no promises that I won't hurt him to subdue him if need be. He killed some people and I have no choice. Plus he...kinda broke my arm, gave me a concussion or two, and gave me some internal bleeding so that's been a joyride. Anyway point is, he murdered people. And he has to be brought to justice."
Hub scoffed, "That's impossible. Keith has never murdered anyone. Well, besides the two in the other room. Beyond that, theres no way. He made a promise. After what happened in-" Hub cut himself odd then quickly recovered, "Point is, he made promise. And theres no way he would have broken it. And I'm sorry about the injuroes he gave you. Sometimes he forgets not everyone is as flexible as him. And as for Dark, he isn't an entity. In a broad sense, he's just another person."
"Look, I won't pry on whatever promise he did or didn't make, okay? I'm just saying that what I do know is that there are dead bodies out there, and while I hate one of them, he still killed them. Footage proves it, the law demands justice and I'm going to have to bring him in." She shrugged. "Yeah, they were rough. I've been shot many times but honestly, your Keith is a bit of a...brute if you ask me. And I'm not not flexible, but I'm also not made of freaking rubber." She rolled her eyes and then tilted her head. "Another person, huh? Well, whatever it was back at my base that killed a bunch of people wasn't human. I stabbed it enough to know that."
A message came up on the screen. Evelyn ignored it, but when she tried to access more footage, firewalls were put up. "Wha-" She let out a frustrated grunt. Her fingers flying over they keyboard, going from program to program. She did a few more clicks "HA! Now let's see what you have been up to." She continued to watch the screens but not before sent a message from the ship asking about Happy.
Hub fell silent, then said, "Ok, whatever. I don't know how the world works. Well, thats a lie, but I'm not going to stop you from doing what you habe to do." Suddenly, a small klaxon sounded, and he whirled around, "Huh?? Wow, this person is good...." He trailed off, then said in bewilderment, "Who the heck is Happy?"
“Well, good, because you wouldn’t stop me even if you’ve tried, but its nice to know you won’t be another hassle I have to get over.” She furrowed her brows. “The hacker again? Where is this person coming from, what do they wa—Happy? Happy Hogan? Why is someone trying to contact him, hey, trace the hack, please? Is this person from SHIELD?”
Hub did as requested, and said, "Hm...it's coming from space. Interesting. Wait...I know this ship! It's Frey's! But...why is he hacking into me? None of this makes sense."
"Who's Frey? Okay well this seems like a situation that's between you guys, except the Happy part. Anyway, I'm going to show this footage to Matt. Probably won't be thrilled but I need to do it." She wondered what he'd gotten out of the shark girl as she stood up and slid her pistol back in its place. As she stood, she could tell the alien tech had worked wonders on her body, but she was still exhausted. This day had been absolute crap.
Hub nodded, "Yeah, ok. Frey is a friend. A space faring one." A small slot opened on the desk, and a device about the size of a regualar tablet slid out, "Mobile access to the system. You can show Matty what you want on there."
"Ah...well let's hope Frey's not about to destroy the world or something," she muttered as she picked up the device. "Thanks....and Matty? Wow, do all you devices call him Matty?" Honestly, it amused her, and that was saying something. She snorted. "I can't decide if it's just sad or or purely hilarious."
"Uh, bye I guess." She was relieved when Hub left. As soon as she was alone for the first time since this morning, save her fit of anger and grief back at base, she groaned silently and tilted her head back, taking a deep breath, and then another, to gather more strength to just keep going on what she needed to right now. Caledonia held the pad close and walked out of the room to find Matt.
((Where should she go?))

Evelyn laughed. "Ha-destroy the world. Now that's a fun one." She left the room to ask Frey about what she just saw, but something on the monitor made her stay. She saw a shadow move from the corner of the screen, a figure, no-a man. He stepped into sight of the camera and looked directly at her. Evelyn's brows furrowed but then her eyes went wide seeing what was on the side of his face. A big red scar. She stumbled backward a few steps upon hearing the voice that has haunted her dreams for weeks.
"Still looking for them? Pretty soon there will be no one left to find."
Anger started to get the best of her. She typed a snarky comment and sent it without thinking. But all he said was. " Space won't be safe for long." He gave a menacing smile then the screen went black.
She fell to her knees, tore her hands through her hair and screamed angrily.

((gwasp. also, cal should go to the med room again, thats where matts at.))
Hub perked up in alarm as something shut him out of the system. He tried to regain control, but suddenly, something infected him. He let out a cry as whatever it was started to corrupt his data.

She heard something short circuiting and saw the computer was shutting down. "No no nononono!" Evelyn started clicking some buttons but it didn't help. She ran out of the room and stumbled into the hall.
