I just finished this and it was such a good dystopian book!!

Read your review and it got me waiting to reread it again! I read and analysed it for school quite a few years ago and I remember having quite mixed feelings about it at the time despite loving everything about Octavia Butler. actually your review has me thinking a comparative essay or something between the relevance of its late 20th -century take on dystopia against something like 1984's might be interesting or fun
