It's that time of the month again! Place your book suggestions here, one nomination and one second per person. Do read through the rules first, please. Feel free to nominate books that have failed selection previously.

1. All nominations must be shelved on GR as fantasy primarily.

2. All nominations must be linked to their book page, or they'll be ignored.

3. All nominations must be seconded.

4. Check our group bookshelf as we won't be including books we've read since January 2016. Check here https://www.goodreads.com/topic/show/...

5. No self-nominations.

6. All nominations must be novels, novellas or collections of short stories; graphic novels, comics, mangas and light novels cannot be nominated.

7. All nominations must have an available English edition.

You have a week to nominate, then I'll set up the poll.

All nominations are subject to moderator's whims.

Joseph | 1651 comments Since it just got rereleased for the first time in 30 years, I'll nominate Flamesong by M.A.R. Barker. (It's listed as second in a series, but it only shares the setting with the first book -- it's an entirely separate story about an entirely separate set of characters.)

Mike (the Paladin) (thepaladin) | 772 comments Spellmonger (The Spellmonger, #1) by Terry Mancour I've been meaning to read this for some time.

I'll second Dragons of Dorcastle.

Spellmonger

I’ll second Spellmonger.

Interestingly, that’s £3.80 on Amazon, Dragons if Dorchester is £110 and the other £55!

My monthly gas and electric are £25, my mobile £33, my water bill £22 for US context. My gas is cheap btw.

Chris Haught (haughtc) | 916 comments It came in close, so I'll try it again.

Blood of Elves by Andrzej Sapkowski

Mary Catelli | 823 comments Which edition of Dragons is that?

message 8: by Maggie (new)

Maggie K | 282 comments I will nominate The Masked City, it's the sequel to The Invisible Library that we read last year.
