Dan’s prediction came true on who the winner would be. Unknown at this time If I will be joining the discussion for this one. Fall is a busy time for me, like a squirrel, getting ready for winter.
Enjoy…
I am the same...Im like now that school prep is done I have to finish painting, get the yard done and trimmed......never know when the snow will hit here
I really loved it too - it was one of those books that I told everyone in my family they needed to read - that doesn't happen very often.
MadProfessah wrote: "Loved it! Possibly better than THE MARTIAN"I can see that--the writing is just as good as in The Martian, but it's a different kind of scifi story, etc.
MadProfessah wrote: "Loved it! Possibly better than THE MARTIAN"Humm ... I would rate The Martian slightly higher, but they are both damn good reads.

I rated The Martian slightly higher as well--4.5 and I rounded up to 5. I would say that for me Project Hail Mary was more than 4 stars, but less than 4.5 and so I rounded it down. There were more familiar things for me in Project Hail Mary whereas The Martian was rather fresh, plus a few other reasons.
But I have an average GR rating of 3.2 stars this year so far (I am trying to get that up so am reducing reading challenges and group reads). My normal average is 3.4 (but 2020 brought that down quite a bit.)
