Have just finished Northanger Abbey, for a second time. It was a bit of a bore the first time, and my opinion hasn't changed.

Read it last year, so won't be reading again. Looking forward to read everyone's comments.

Looking forward to it! This time, however, I’ll be avoiding the Harvard UP annotated edition I read last time—hated the editor’s commentary.

I read it some years back. When I was in Prague, the English section of the public library had a book that contained both Northanger Abbey and Romance of the Forest by Ann Radcliffe.

Ann Radcliffe is fun if you like gothic

I've read Northanger Abbey maybe 3 times so I don't plan on rereading. I enjoy it, although it's not as complex as other Austens. I do like the parody aspect and it's in this book that you find the wonderful quote that starts "Only a novel!"
