millie (milliee_rose) | 183 comments ok so i want to hear all your opinions - is teresa good or bad?

message 2: by grace (new)

grace (thestateofgraceee) | 64 comments She had good intentions and nobody can convince me otherwise

message 3: by Sooran (new)

Sooran Surya | 11 comments Well seriously,my honest opinion is that it hurt me a lot when she betrayed Thomas eventhough it was orchestrated by WICKED.I actually cried. But Grace you are saying that she had good intentions but if you had read Fever Code then you will know that she manipulated and further deceived Thomas, thus I think my point is reasonable to listen to.

message 4: by millie (new)

millie (milliee_rose) | 183 comments I feel like I can see both sides I mean yes, she did betray thomas even though he trusted her so much, but if you read the fever code you would know that she never lost most of her memories. This means that she knew all along what she was doing, so this makes me think that she really did think she was doing the right thing. However, if you read crank palace you would know that she tries to do the best for everyone wherever she goes. she is always looking out for her friends. I think, based on that, teresa is good

millie (milliee_rose) | 183 comments However, if someone has a better argument I would quite happily listen to their comment and opinions

message 6: by grace (new)

grace (thestateofgraceee) | 64 comments Ok tbf i kinda see where your coming from but ig she always strikes my as someone who follows her heart and deep down she thought that what she was doing was right, obvs it wasnt right tho
i guess you could say she was kinda brainwashed by wicked from a young age which has an impact on how she ended up

message 7: by millie (new)

millie (milliee_rose) | 183 comments I think the fact that they didnt even get to keep their own names says a lot about wicked

message 8: by Sooran (new)

Sooran Surya | 11 comments Yes I agree with you on your front that she was brainwashed by WICKED.

Kris ⸆⸉ | 1 comments I read the books, so I won't judge her, she didn't knew what she was doing. And then when she was free she tried to fix it, even it was too late she regret of everything :(

message 11: by Julia (new)

Julia Flach | 6 comments I don’t know. She had a good intention but I think she chose the wrong way to follow with it! In my opinion, most of all, she should have helped Thomas, or at least be honest about her actions, because he would do anything for her, besides him being her best friend. (I still haven’t read the fever code)

˗ˏˋ zero.raide ˎˊ˗ #InLoveWithMyOwnFictionalCharacters f##king bad

Shawna Finnigan (sugoishawn) | 54 comments She's very morally grey for me, so it's hard to choose whether she was good or bad. She had some good intentions and occasionally she had a few good actions, but she was fundamentally flawed and following through with what she believed in lead her to do some not so great things

Prior Eaton | 12 comments She's good at the beginning and bad at the end.
I'm not sure if she changes. I am still reading the series.

oooo what book are you on?

message 16: by millie (new)

millie (milliee_rose) | 183 comments I agree that she is good at the beginning.
This might just be me but I don't see how she got worse towards the end, she was just doing what she thought was right and trying to help her friends. Even if that wa as the wrong thing to do, at least she tried, she could've done nothing. She did what she could in the time that she had and that makes her good imo

message 17: by Lili (new)

Lili (lilihansen) | 5 comments I'm confused whether Teresa really did lose her memories or not. At the end of The Fever Code she writes an email saying that she'll keep her memories, but in the first chapter in The Kill Order when she's looking at Thomas getting his memories taken, she says that hers will get taken too. The Kill Order would have been her actual thoughts, but the email in The Fever Code could have been written by someone else (Dr. Paige), so maybe she did lose her memories? I don't know. Am I missing something?

sorry if I'm late! Imo, she lost her memories. When I read that part I thought that she had agreed to keep them, but then whoever was in charge (probably Ava Paige) decided against it, seeing how she'd probably end up revealing something if not everything and the maze trials would have been compromised. I'm not 100% sure about this, but I think it makes sense.

message 23: by Jady (new)

Jady (jadybookaholic) | 2 comments She's a sheerly designed morally-grey character in this book series. She isn't completely bad or good, but I think she had great potential to stay on the good side, yet chose to work for the WICKED who's the main reason for this whole destruction.
She had her reasons to touch that bad spot, but I can't avoid disliking her for betraying Thomas and his friends.

message 24: by Yasmin (new)

Yasmin Silva well, it depends on the point of reference, she was a traitor and that, for me, already makes her mean to her friends and companions, but her intention was always good and she never wanted to hurt anyone, she just wanted to find the cure and do the right
But just the fact that she cheated on Thomas and the others makes me dislike her.

message 25: by Jordyn (new)

Jordyn booklover | 45 comments I think that if Teresa really thought what she was doing was good, why not tell anyone. Why spring it on them and look like the bad guy? She should have known that people being tortured was going to happen and use her brain. Why sacrifice your friends for something that u could just ask them to do. However WICKEd did betray, so why risk it. However, in the books, Teresa never really betrays them, only to put up an act and save Thomas’s life. Which is she worse in. The book or the movie. In the movie she tortured Minho. In the book she takes Thomas captive.

grace (thestateofgraceee) | 64 comments i was just thinking about how much id love to read either a book (or just a short story) about what was going on inside teresas head/ whether she kept her memories etc etc. idk it just seems like something that id find interesting :)

Mary-Therese P. I know she thought she was doing the right thing, but I still CANNOT STAND HER

mona ♡ (everyone's a star) (mona_tv) honestly i have a hard time feeling sympathy for her because of how she betrayed thomas in the second book and it took everything in me not to throw the book because i was so pissed off about it. i read the rest of the series but i kept my same opinion of her.

Bailey(not super active lol) | 32 comments After reading the second book and where she betrayed Thomas not once , but TWICE . I hated her and threw my book several times .

message 34: by Molly (new)

Molly | 13 comments so i actually like teresa. first book i had mixed feelings about her but thought her relationship with thomas was kinda cute. second book hated her guts. third book wasn’t even a huge fan of her. but when i was watching the third movie i realized how much of a complex character she is and how her heart was always in the right place and i kinda felt bad for her.

message 35: by Marcie (new)

Marcie The Ninja | 8 comments I hated her when I read the books but as I thought about it I think she was doing what she felt she had to. I think she's more morally gray than good or bad.

message 36: by Sienna (new) - added it

Sienna She had good intentions but she did it in the wrong way
