I think most of you know each other, at least a little, but feel free to introduce yourself again. Please give any relevant information, especially time zone as that helps know when it is best to communicate. 😊Please select a team leader to help keep track of where your team is in any given task. And as necessary guide discussions for task decisions. Any teammate can report your completions though.
Remember, it is the team's responsibility to notify the host (me) if a teammate fails to complete the task in a timely manner or otherwise goes missing! I am not checking all the team threads regularly to notice and may only check when notified a task is complete.
PS - If you want to be known as anything other than Team 7, you are free to come up with a team name. 😉

Hi everyone! Im Sofia and im from Chile, my native lenguage is spanish but i mostly read in english. My english is not perfect tho but i hope it wont be a problemI don’t have any names for the team, im really bad at names lol

In the group discussion I sent to everyone. Feel free to put your answers. Kat will send us a task and we will have to do what it says. If we know ahead what we are doing we don't have to wait for everyone to answer. We will know ahead of time and be able to start our book.

Hi everyone! Checking in. I’m Lynne and live in Dallas, TX.This is my second time doing this challenge, I loved it and had fun with my team, but they were just doing it for fun so we didn’t get through very many of the tasks.

Lynne if you don't want to do it I can do it. That was the same way my first time. My team was doing for fun as well. Now my second time we flew through it. We did so many. We were getting a new task every other day.
I like Spicy Sprinters. I googled names and oh my some of them are scary.

As a team select a fall month. Fall this year is from September 22 through December 21 - so you may select September, October, November or December, then everyone reads a book initially published in the selected month of any year. For this task, use the initial publication date. If there is a date listed at the top of the editions page - use it! Otherwise I will be looking for the earliest dated English language edition regardless of format for the qualification. Please include the selected month in your completion posts.
What month do we want? October? I didn't see this on our planning list.

Remember that if you are the last one finished with your book. You can check us in. You do not have to wait for me. Also remember we won't get a task until every other day. So earliest we can get next one is Thursday.

I see an earlier edition dated 2006 with a page count of 242 - but I didn't go through all 21 pages of Kindle editions to see if that is the earliest one! No need to post a correction, just a reminder that the page count at the top is not necessarily the correct one. 😊

To qualify for this task, the selected books need to be written by a new to you author. You may have other books by the selected author on your shelves, but only the book selected for this task can be marked as read/rated. Include a link to your read shelf in your completion post, ideally sorted to your selected author. Please make sure the book you read for this task is on your shelves and marked as read. If your profile is private, you will either need to open if for the duration of this task or friend me so I can confirm your book. If I cannot confirm your book, the task is not completed.
And I'm going to ask a favor of you. There will be a lot of tasks that I will need to adjust when assigned and I might not always remember to do that. Please ask if you think I should have made an adjustment and one hasn't been made!
