I feel like Hunger Games, Vampire Academy and anything by Jennifer Armentrout deserve special mentions, though. Thinking about this has made me want to re-read so many books lol

Honourable mentions: I’ve only read The Cruel Prince but I think this series might become one of my faves, Ready Player One I enjoyed and I honestly don’t know why, and Legend is rly good but it’s not one of my faves anymore. There’s some more but I’ve forgotten them rn

this is not completely true because this is just for YA... I read kinda adult stuff mostly, not steamy stuff just not always suited for YA
