Reading Envy Readers discussion

I was looking through the National (USA) Book Award longlist for non-fiction and was struck by how connected one of the nominees might be to Barkskins:

Covered with Night: A Story of Murder and Indigenous Justice in Early America

I'm unlikely to read such a long non-fiction book (I struggle enough to read long novels!) but if someone else wants to try and report back, I'd be interested. :)

I think it sounds great and is totally the kind of chonky history book I will read. But I am much less…aggressive?…with my library requests of the nonfiction books. I am in way too many queues again!

oh, I'll certainly read that later this winter!
