hi i'm retro! i'm not a muslim but it still said i can join and i also agree that there isn't enough rep in literature. my favourite books are: a monster calls, acowar, the seven husbands of evelyn hugo, the song of achilles, a little life and red,white and royal blue :)

The name is Zainah. I’m a teenage Hijabi girl that comes from Pakistan and lives in America. Thank you sooooo much Zara (my good friend 😉) for creating this Muslim group. It’s so hard to find books that are fitting to my mom’s standards, especially since I’m reading in the YA genre now. I would loveeeeee some good Islamically appropriate book recs!!

Salam!! U can just call me iris. I'm Muslim, I like all genres, I just discovered my love for books not even a year ago so bare with me, I haven't read that much. My fav books would be Crooked kingdom, it ends with us and anything by Agatha Christie. Also English is my 3rd language so pls dont mind any mistakes I make!!!

and im excited to see where this group goes bc i agree about the amount of misrepresentation for muslims in books and i think that its a serious problem that needs to b addressed
