Book Nerds :D discussion

I just finished Pride and Prejudice, and it was so good! I had to read it for school though so it took me a little to make myself start but after that it was great!

I'd love to join in whenever I can. I adore Jane Austen and have read almost all her works. Pride and Prejudice is my obvious favourite. :-)

Emma is one of her most annoying lead characters. What's interesting to know is that Jane Austen purposely wrote her that way. She was amused at how successful the book was. Will await your thoughts once you are done with the books. :-)

I've only read Emma and Pride & Prejudice so far. I find it hard to understand her books because her writing style is a little confusing to me, but I liked some of the characters in those books and the audiobook narrators were phenomenal

@Shawna, I would recommend Northanger Abby next, if you wanted some of her easier writing, Bonus: it has my favorite Austen Hero! :-D

I love Jane Austen she is definitely in my top 5 favorite authors (maybe top 3.... idk)

Emma has my favorite plot, I relate most to Marianne from S&S, and Henry Tilney, of Northanger Abby is my fictional crush, jk, jk.
