Read the Movie discussion

The Legend of Sleepy Hollow is actually just a short story so this is a very quick read. Great for Halloween! There are lots of film adaptations to choose from, but I am going to watch the one with Johnny Depp and Christina Ricci. Comparing the different versions will be a great topic of conversation, both this month and especially next month with another Johnny Depp movie.

Has anyone read this short story yet? It only took me about 45 minutes to reread it, and it can be found online for free. It is a Halloween season classic for sure!
The movie that goes with it that I chose is only one of many that have been made, so you can pick any of them, just name which one you watched and how true you thought it stayed to the original story.
The one I picked is part 1 of a Johnny Depp double feature to finish up in November. It is weird to see how he is barely aging.
