Dan | 4 comments Hello,

Was i was about five (1998), i used to have four small square cardboard books. One was colours, one was shapes, one was numbers and I can't remember then other one.

They were also different themed. One was monsters and another was castles.

If any one has any idea what the books were called, it would really be helpful :) Thank you in advanced!

Becca (beccalikesbooks) | 5620 comments Can you describe the illustration style at all? And what country were you in when you had them?

A long shot, but maybe Jan Pieńkowski's books? e.g.
Colours by Jan Pieńkowski
Numbers by Jan Pieńkowski
Shapes by Jan Pieńkowski

Thank you for the suggestions but they were not the books :( I was in the UK at the time if that narrows it down and were in English.

Becca (beccalikesbooks) | 5620 comments Have you tried searching e.g. Amazon UK for "colours board book" and browsing through the results? If you use the advanced search you can even filter for books published before 2000. It would be quicker / easier way to look through a lot of possibilities in one go.

Dan, was the monsters book about colours, shapes or numbers? What about the castles book?

I added some details to the header/ topic title. Feel free to edit it.
