Read the Movie discussion

This is a Christmas classic and a no-brainer to pick to do for December. I think that I can recite almost every line from the movie in my sleep :). The book that the film was based on is actually called "In God We Trust, All Others Pay Cash" by Jean Shephard and it has some other great stories in it about Ralphie, Flick, and their other friends that didn't make it into the film that are well worth reading. I can't promise that you will get a Red Rider BB Gun for the holidays if you join in the conversation, but you could win a great prize of some other type, like a bowling alley. You never know.

Has anyone read this book yet? If you have, please comment on a chapter that you liked that wasn't part of the "Christmas Story" movie.
I thought the chapter about Raphie's book report was drop the book hilarious. His teacher was really cool about that whole episode, I have taught 6th grade, and don't know how I would have handled it.
