Part I (view spoiler)[Four horror writers thrown into a haunted house... Can't wait to see where this goes. They may all be there for an interview but I think it's going to be a lot worse and bloody than that lol (hide spoiler)]
Part II (view spoiler)[Alright I was a little bummed with how the haunting and creepy moments at the house were brushed away but with the way this ended, the story has only just started to begin….. 😈😈 I’m here for it cause now it sounds like the house was only warming up. Whether it worked some bad juju cursing these people once they leave or the house is somehow leaving in each of them remains to be seen. Then again now I’m wondering and will be paying attention to if they’ve really even left?!?!? (hide spoiler)]
Part III (view spoiler)[”You will always belong to the house.” Well damn! The house has this energy that clearly is with them, they are crazy if they go back but at the same time they really don’t have a cho ice. (hide spoiler)]
Part IV & Finished (view spoiler)[For a book with such a slow buildup this ends with one hell of a bang. Early on I wasn’t sure how I would like this but damn did I love it. It’s funny because I expected all the action to take place while they were at the house the first time which isn’t too far into the book. Nothing much takes place until everyone arrives at the house together making the first third really slow. Everyone’s individual paranormal experiences at the house were kinda minor for a horror and I was bummed thinking that was as exciting as the book would be. Only the house and it’s “power” was only just waking up & things quickly built in intensity as they left the house until the very explosive end. I actually really really loved this book and found it so perfect for this time of year. I finally found the book I’ve been waiting for all month. It’s was brutal & cringeworthy at times and honestly just creepy. For me it was a really great haunted house novel, this author is definitely on my radar now.
