It was a real treat to 'be' there today for this announcement! I was tickled when 3 books I've read ( Set the Stars Alight by Amanda Dykes , A Portrait of Loyalty (The Codebreakers, #3) by Roseanna M. White , When Twilight Breaks by Sarah Sundin ) were announced, as well as many authors whose work I've read!
As someone said in the live stream comments, my TBR list just grew!😂

message 6: by Christine (new)

Christine Indorf | 392 comments I wrote them all down. I have only read 5 so far and I need to catch up on my reading. Really want to read them to see why they were nominated.

message 7: by Dana (new)

Dana McNeely (danamcneely) | 7 comments Staci, thanks for posting the finalists. I’m still reeling that after years of pouring over the Christy lists to find my next great reads, my book RAIN is a Christy finalist! It’s surreal. The Lord is sometimes slow to move, but He is never late. ⛈

Wasn't it great?! My personal laptop is a dinosaur so joined in from my phone and couldn't see the messages very well. Completely agree with a growing TBR!!

Yes! I love to read as many as I can before the winners are announced. Of course, reality sets in and how many I'm actually able to read before the announcement won't be as many as I wished it were. In any event, good reading ahead!

Thanks so much for joining us Dana! And CONGRATULATIONS! God's timing is always right on time even if that is tough for us to see sometimes. Yours is one I haven't read yet.

message 12: by Sarita (new)

Sarita | 2312 comments I've read all three under the suspense, Sarah Sundin's and Amanda Dyke's. I have a few others sitting in my TBR.
