Kelly Green Hicks (kelly's bookish world) The category for this month is a book by a local author. We have quite a few local author books at the library. Some of the authors include Gretchen Archer, Susan Gilmore Gregg, Amy Petulla, Emery Rutledge (E.M. Rutledge), Ted Rogers, Phil Garver, Raymond L. Atkins, Kelle Z. Riley, Cheryl Reid, Janey Dempsey Watts, Dr. Jack Blanco, Raymond Bandy, Greg Wilkey, Earnest & Chandler Dempsey & Becky Byrns.

what is the definition for local author? is it someone who lives here currently or do authors who are from here but don't currently live here count?
