Hmm. It doesn't look like the new BLCC Christmas book (Rupert Latimer: Murder After Christmas) is going to be published in the U.S. in time for this group read, does it? :(In that case, I'll nominate Cyril Hare's An English Murder.
Christine PNW wrote: "I'm going to nominate A Maigret Christmas And Other Stories by Georges Simenon"I really liked that one, too.
Oh, this is a tough one because there are so many excellent ones, but I'm going with this one:Moray Dalton's The Night of Fear
Christine PNW wrote: "I'm going to nominate A Maigret Christmas And Other Stories by Georges Simenon"I really loved those three stories. They were my first contact with Maigret and they set the bar high.
Jessica wrote: "Crimson Snow: Winter Mysteries"Now that looks tempting. We need to declare Christmas to be three months long so we can have winter stories from mid-November to mid-February.
Mike wrote: "We need to declare Christmas to be three months long so we can have winter stories from mid-November to mid-February."Seriously!!
One suggestion better than the next one!
Not necessarily Christmas but snow, so nominate (again) Crossed Skis by Carol Carnac, in case it´s available.
I'll nominate a novella by Rex Stout, Christmas Party (it can be found in the volume And Four to Go).
Just a question about my nomination of Crossed Skis - was it not enough Christmassy?Otherwise I wanted to read An English Murder too! :)

Oh, no, it was plenty snowy for the theme - I just overlooked it! I'm so sorry!
I actually read it last year & really liked it, btw.
