Are you familiar with the authors? What insights are you hoping to gain from the book? What is your past experience with the topic?

This book was really formative for me and I'm looking forward to revisiting it. I remember McKnight's approaching being really systematic and alot more helpful than Wright's "Simply Good News."

Robert Klassen | 11 comments The only Scot McKnight book I’ve read is “The Blue Parakeet”, but it seems I’ve encountered him many times in podcasts over the past months as he was promoting his newest book. I’m looking forward to this.

Kevin Wolz | 13 comments This book is incredibly important. I read it in about 36 hours the first time and my wife was a little upset that I wouldn’t put it down. But really, I *couldn’t put it down. It was convicting and persuasive and digestible. I’m really looking forward to what I see a second time around.
