几ㄖ几丨 (sarcasticwatermelon) | 417 comments I suggest reading short things like comic books or manga or really short stories to get back in a reading mood. Or maybe find a series you haven't finished yet and finish it.

Gentry (gholland) I was in a reading slump for 3 years while I went through middle school but The Folk of the Air pulled me out of it. I’m now in another one though, so I’ve been reading graphic novels like The Girl and the Sea and also retreading Heartstopper

Gentry (gholland) It lasted from when I was 11-14. I didn’t like any of the middle grade books my school library had despite the librarian taking hours to find me all the perfect books. So throughout middle school I barely read, but not even two weeks after I turned 15 and was in high school, I discovered tfota and young adult books. It hasn’t even been a year yet, but I can feel myself slowly transitioning into new adult books and away from young adult (and sadly, it came with a reading slump, although I’m trying to get out of it by reading The Picture of Dorian Gray)
