Layla bounded around happily as she ran through the trees
She howled lightly in happiness and pushed herself to go faster
She stopped running, skidding to a stop, as she backtracked and walked up to other wolf, "Hi! I'm Layla! What's your name?"
She smiled, "Nice to meet you!"
She moved closer and gently took the rabbit from him, letting it go free
"Yeah, well, eat something else." She said with a sharp growl, before realizing what she was doing, "Sorry, that was rude of me."
"I do as well, but just not rabbits." She said as her ears twitched
"Why rabbits?" She asked straightforward
"The shouldn't be eaten." She said calmly as she turned and started walking
"They just shouldn't." She said softly as she glanced at him
"I guess not." She said as she picked up her pace some
"No! Of course that's not true! I'm sorry." She said realizing her rudeness from before
She turned and narrowed her eyes at him, "I never said I didn't like you." She said before turning and walking again
"I have to get back to my pack, and I still have other things to do."
"I'm part of the Night Tribe, they took me in a while ago. And you?" She asked
Her ears went down, "I don't exactly stick around much, I wander a lot. I'm not really good at being the beta."
She shook her head looked around, "Yeah, deer at a three o'clock." She said with a soft growl as she crouched down
She moved closer and hid behind a bush, she was waiting for the right moment to attack
She leapt out of the bushes and pounced on the deer, rolling around trying to get a good hold on it
She bit it's neck and then let go once it stopped moving, "Hm, maybe a chase would have been fun."
She looked at the deer and then turned and started walking towards the den
"I wasn't, I was going to come back for it later." She said
"I'm not sure, something about it just seems easier I think."
"Agree to disagree." She said as they got closer to the den
