I think this book was amazing. it was romantic and I loved that I was able to relate to it in some way. the author did a great job at showing what its like to have to leave everything due to being deported. Natashas parents moved to NYC 9 years ago but unfortunately ICE did a random raid at her dads work thus finding out that her dad was undocumented. 9 years Natasha made friends, grew to love NYC, found her love for astrology and she had to leave. of course she has to meet a guy the day before she has to fly to Jamaica and he promises her that he can make her fall in love with him in 1 day. that's where I was hooked. I also wanted to see if she would fall in love with him in 1 day! That was the part I was able to relate to the most because I met my boyfriend not knowing that he was leaving to Korea for 1 year in 3 months. I was intrigued and also thought to myself, can I even fall in love in 3 months? so this book really caught my attention. I will be recommending this book to all my friends who enjoy reading.
