I recently finished "Nothing to See Here" by Kevin Wilson about a woman becoming a nanny for two children that can spontaneously burst into flames and I adored it. It was a fast, funny read and the characters are so memorable, I thought about them for days afterward. Currently reading "A Tale for the Time Being" by Ruth Ozeki.

I recently finished "The Last Chance Library" by Freya Sampson about June, a shy woman who is mourning the death of her mother, and who likes her routines and living vicariously through characters in books. She works as a library assistant at her beloved local library. When she finds out the library is threatened with closure, she joins a dedicated group of eccentric townspeople to save the library, and discovers how to come out of her reclusive shell. It was delightful! I'm currently reading "Mexican Gothic" by Silvia Moreno-Garcia, perfect for spooky October!
