Nix starts to wake up
Scarlett was in the chair next to her hospital bed sleeping.
“Scar?” She says softly
She woke up and got up quickly.
“How are you?” She asks forcing a smile still slightly groggy
She looked at her confused. She laughed and rubbed her eyes. She was still half asleep. "Your seriously asking me this right now?"
¨Would you rather me ignore you? Cry and beg for you back?¨ she asks raising her eyebrow ¨There isnt many options when your ex girlfriend is watching you die¨ she says laying on her back and staring at the ceiling
Scarlett frowned. "The doctor said your going to be fine...they just have to take some of your blood, and figure out how to deal with the bite." She says.
A doctor walks in and shuts the door behind herself. She sees Nix and smiles. "Oh, good your awake!" She exclaims. "That's a good sign."

She eyes the doctor “Who are you?” She asks not trusting them
Scarlett sighs. "This is doctor who's here to help you? Does it really matter?"
“Fine” she mumbles still in pain
She lays back again
“The spread of the poison almost seems to be stopping” says the doctor frowning
Scarlett nodded and sat back down.
“If it stops spreading you should be fine to leave in the next hour or so” they says before leaving
Scarlett frowned and went on her phone.
Nix flinches slightly trying to see what Scar is doing
Scarlett looked up. "Are you okay?" She asked.
she nods biting her lip ¨Hopefully you dont mind the poison lines¨ she jokes indicating to the poison veins you can see on her neck
"I don't know, they are ugly or something?" she says
Sarah walks in and sits down. "Hey, your awake!"
She nods “Yeah” she says
She smiled. "You hungry?"

"Okay, I'll order some fast food." She says quietly. She pulls out her phone and calls a fast food place.
Scarlett gets up and walks out.
"So, what do you want?" Sarah asked.

Scarlett came back in with a blood bag and sat down near Nix's bed. "Here, take this." She says giving her a hesitant smile. Scar knew that they weren't on the best terms, but maybe they could be friends. She silently cringed at the word. 'Ew' She thought.

Sarah looked between the two and cleared her throat. "I'll just order you some fries, chicken nuggets, and a frosty." "Its what Scarlett always gets, and since you two are so close you probably like the same thing." She snaps glaring at them. She walks out and slams the hospital room door. 'I've risked everything for her, and she's going to mess it up'

Nix takes the bag from Scar hesitantly smiling back. “Thanks” she says softly. “Your sister or what ever she is to you doesn’t seem to like me much” she says looking as she leaves

((I did until my pronouns decided to be annoying today and go out the window for like a hour. I am go by genderqueer or genderfluid and my pronouns are he/she/they. My name is also Fable now. Oof good luck being confused))
She nods not saying anything, not entirely believing her. She looks at the blood pack and then at Scar almost seeming to ask permission
Scarlett tugged at her short hair and sighed. She looked around and back to Nix, "Oh, by all means, you can drink. You don't have to look to me for permission Nix."
She nods quickly opening the blood pack and sipping on it. “So how’s life?” She jokes
She laughs. She quickly finishes drinking the blood pack
"What happened?" She asks curious about what she had missed
Scarlett sighs and sits back in her chair, "I met my mothers side of the family." She begins.
She listens curiously. “Have you never met them before?” She asks confused
