If you are joining us for our Fall selection, we are now at Chapters 23-24 and the story is becoming more intense and serious. Secrets are being revealed and the fate of many will be determined. Let us know what you think about the book. We are getting close to the end of this selection.
Inti is charged with assault and Colm charged with the killing of the wolf. The killing of livestock continues. Inti is under pressure to help stop the wolves from more livestock deaths. Inti has to make the sad decision to kill the predator and cycle of killing. Colm and his group go to Inti's place and attack. Duncan arrives to help and arrest them. Duncan discovers Inti is pregnant. Aggie asks that he stays away. The incident brings back memories to Inti and Aggie of Gus and his rage.
Inti is working against the clock to stop the livestock and wolf killings. Colm is arrested for attacking Inti and Aggie. Can Inti and Aggie handle the attack and flashbacks of Gus? Duncan knows Inti is pregnant. How will Inti and Duncan process their next steps? Can Duncan handle this new revelation? What happens next with the remaining wolves?
