Hey! I am Joan Salder. I am 14, born on 28th July 2007.I have had quite a lot of interests and desire to learn new things. I love reading books but haven't read as many books as I would have imagined myself to read by this time. Well, I am a big fan of music and I love BTS, The Vamps, 5 Seconds Of Summer, Why Don't We, Selena Gomez, Justin Bieber, etc. I read books not just for fun but to gain knowledge about how the world is and what we need to do OK to accomplish our life's goals. You might misunderstand me as someone who is very studious but you are wrong here because I am not. I like to study but not that much that I study everyday. I learned swimming, cycling and skating by the age of 11 and still am quite familiar with the sports. I desire to learn even more and continue with the sports I have learned. My favourite sport is badminton and cycling. I want to learn to play a guitar. I have always fancied Iron Man but just started watching The Avengers. I would like to read Naruto. I am quite fun to be with as told by my friends, but sometimes they say that I annoy them too much hehe. I started reading on my own when I was 11. My journey towards books started by reading the Harry potter series and am just thrilled about how the writer has written the books as I was at that time OK me when I first started reading it without much knowledge about books. Since then I have become a book lover thanks to JK Rowling. I want to be an engineer when I grow up but that is not all; I also want to be a part time author. I want to have a normal, quite life in Spain and am preparing to go there by learning Spanish. I am quite familiar with the basics of the language and am thrilled that I ain't a bit annoyed by it. I write journals and try to keep it updated but I don't have enough time during exams and all. My favorite standalone is turtles all the way down; I don't know why I liked it so much to fall in love with it but I just do. My favourite genres are fantasy, fiction, thriller, mystery, spy, young adult, etc. I guess that is enough of my introduction for today because I have to go, prepare for my exams. Thank You.

It’s not as scary as people make out! Just take it one step at a time. Wear a helmet, knee pads and elbow pads, and you’ll be fine. Take the first month to just ride around and get comfortable on your board. If you try it, Braille Skateboarding tutorials on YouTube are really great.

Oh wow! I'll sure learn to skateboard then.

Woah Lita! I am a fan of guitar but haven't got sufficient time to learn it. I love how the strings vibrate and produce music which is so very pleasing to our ears.

Some of my hobbies include reading (ofc) writing, taking care of animals, and many more… i love music and sports. My favorite color is probably yellow, blue, or green. I'm Dixie my Birthday is November 2, 2004 (IT'S SO CLOSE!!) which currently makes me 16 but ill be 17 in a few days! True born Texan so that's cool ig, except I don't fit into the YEE HAW culture here.

I really like Romance and Mystery novels, specifically True Crime because most of the time I find Fictional mystery boring (but that could be the books I read, so if you have any suggestions I would happily take them!)

I'm currently reading The Girls are Gone, which is super interesting and I have The Innocent Man on my to-read list.

My home library has about 63 books in it, and I have read just about all of them. the largest series I have in my library is the Mortal Instruments series in which I have them all in hardcover! (I swear I'm not crazy!)

Anyways I'm so happy to be in the club and hope to make many new friends here!

Hey everyone! I'm Soumasree, I'm 12, my birthday is 9th March. I love reading, writing, drawing and singing. I started reading at age 11, yeah just previous year, I wish I would've started sooner! The series that got me into reading is Harry Potter, thanks to J.K Rowling! My favourite books are Percy Jackson (basically all of Uncle Rick's books), Harry Potter, The song of Achilles, the invisible life of Addie LaRue and the fault in our stars! My favourite TV shows are Supernatural, Doctor Who and Sherlock. I'm obsessed with them. And my favourite movie recently is the princess diaries. I'm obsessed with mythology and fantasy genres! I want to become a writer and I also wanna study comparative literature which is basically comparing all sorts of literature from different periods and eras from around the world! I'm really hoping to make new friends here!

You are so similar to me Soumashree. Even I started reading at the age of eleven and I wish I'd started sooner. Harry Potter is the series that got me into reading too!! My favorite series is Harry Potter and Percy Jackson too!!

I guess I would've started sooner if I knew Harry was a wizard and not a Potter who makes pots, I was extremely stupid, I still laugh that sometimes when I remember it. And I just finished th mark of Athena and I am destroyed, every way possible.
