Stephanie Tuell (booksloveme) | 206 comments Starting January 2022 I will be doing Quarterly Challenges. These challenges will last 3 months long. The schedule will be as followed:
January 1st to March 31st
April 1st to June 30th
July 1st to September 30th
October 1st to December 31st

For each challenge, I will be providing a SMALL reward for the winner. I have totally decided on the reward, but since I funding it on my own, it will most likely only be something like a $5 gift card to Amazon, or Barnes and Noble, or Google, or Apple, or a place of the winner's choosing, or maybe even a free ebook. Maybe, down the line or something, we can figure out a way to make the prize bigger.

I will do my best each quarter to keep the challenges different. But I welcome any suggestions for any challenges, prizes, or way to set up or run these challenges.

D.L. That's a neat idea & so generous! I would like to suggest a movie-themed challenge. Perhaps something with film genres. For example, if you chose family films, you could use one like this-

Fly Away Home tells the soaring adventure story of a 13-year-old girl and her estranged father who learn what family is all about when they adopt an orphaned flock of geese and teach them to fly! Directed by Carroll Ballard, it stars Jeff Daniels, Anna Paquin, and Dana Delaney.

~~~
Tasks (choose 1 of the following):
a. Read a book with any species of bird on the cover
b. Read a book set in Canada.
c. Read a book where a character flies a plane or travels on one.
d. Read a book that features a complicated parent/child relationship.
--
Of course, you would need to expand on it but I hope it helps inspire, maybe :)
