The teachers here arrive late too but if students get late if only by a minute then they shout at them and demand what they were doing and make it a mess

Instead of being able to shout at them i wish we would have this thing called “the 5 min rule” if teachers don’t come to class after 5 min… FREE PERIOD!!! 😂 ( i saw it on a tv show and thought I’d mention. Sadly it doesn’t rlly exist)

wow! sounds good. I have visited India once and was obsessed with it. I have experienced only one festival there and that is Holy. I loved it.

oh yes? well fireworks are banned in some regions of India, including where I live due to excessive air pollution and the deteriorating health of animals and birds.. so no fireworks for me this year. sad.

THE BIG REVEAL!!
I don't know if I am ready for this or not but I am sure that I don't want to put you people in darkness. The thing I am going to reveal is something anyone would not have expected to come across but I really want to share.
I am not an Australian. Yeah I know I was pretending to not know about India and all but I am an Indian. Sorry about that Holi festival I wrote as Holy but it was not deliberate; it was autocorrect mistake. I regret pretending to be a foreigner but I wanted to see if goodreads was reliable with such things like location sharing and name revealing things. I was not someone who would interact with people first when I started using goodreads but over time being I thought it was good to have friends if they are not interested in your location and all but some of my friends began to ask me about my country and where I live and I was not comfortable sharing it so I lied. Starting a lie is easy but consistent efforts for keeping it going is not something of my nature. I am revealing these things because I regret having friends whom I lie to continuously. I felt like I betrayed people even though I never met anyone in real life or know anyone personally but then too it felt bad.
The second thing is that my name is not Joan Salder and I am not comfortable with sharing my real name with anyone and I apologize for that. I am doing this because of something that happened with my school friend. She got her account hacked by someone unknown after sharing her email Id, real name and city name to a stranger whom she was friends with on social media since a year and that made me more cautious about what I shared with people.
I beg your pardon for pretending and lying but I had my reasons. Hoping that you people understand and forgive me. Thank You. Happy Diwali to all!

Hey, it's absolutely alright! I understand why you did it, I used to think that too. The most important thing is that you told the truth, it's all that matters! And I'm really happy that you trust us and that's why you shared it!

Yeah, in India, there's no Halloween too and that sucks. I reall wanna do the "trick or treat!" But that's not possible. There's diwali though, Halloween and diwali are kinda the same. It is believed that all spirits and ghosts roam around this time so people burst firecrackers and do fireworks so there's no darkness and only light.
