here’s where people can discuss what they think about my writing, some things i can fix or really anything to improve.

guys i’m stuck! does anyone have tips on how to get out of writers block or maybe for writing a plot from a weird middle point. it’s for a book i’ve just been winging but i feel like i actually need a plan now but can’t figure out how to fix it

If you're stuck on a certain part of your story, try writing a different part and going back to the first later. Your story doesn't have to be written in order, as long as it comes together in the end. Hope that helped! :)

Hmmm... Well, you could go back and map out where you want the story to go. Or if you aren't very far in, you could stop, map out the storyline, and try again. You could also take a break, write a weird scene for something else, then come back to it later.

i’ve been doing those things but thank you. i feel like i’ve tried everything but i have a trip coming up so i’ll have plenty of time to think and write

Maybe you can focus on other piece of writing, and then come back to it when you have fresh ideas!

ok i haven’t been able to write on vacation like i thought because we’re go go go visiting family and friends and i’m still doing school. but i’m back home now and am going to be trying to catch up so hopefully i’ll have something to post soon.

Ahhh. I understand. I am just knitting and forgetting about writing as well.

well… i’m back into writing. which i achieved by writing the death scene of my favorite character. which made me cry. but that’s writing

ok fellow human beings i just started the novel in a year challenge. so from now on i will be posting the first draft chapters of my challenge book The Crimson Dragon. i honestly can’t tell what genre it is but it follows the journey of a 19 year commander/princess as she is forced to save her enemies from an invasion of demons and finding herself and possibly love in the process

Ooh. :) Sounds kind of like fantasy or paranormal stuff. I can't wait to read it!

Ooooo! I really like the prologue.

i’m working on the first chapter right now and will probably post it in a bit. hopefully, i’m trying to finish it

i have the first 2 chapters but i can’t think of the countries name so i can’t post it 😐. nothing fits or sounds right!

Oops, I sometimes takes inspiration from fictional countries or use a generator for ideas.

Have you tried using a weird letter you like and using random letters in a sequence that sounds like a name? I do that a lot, and it's kind of fun, and whatever name you make turns out completely unique. :) [Example: Xyraza]
