We have a few authors who have not been respecting the group rules about self-promotion. I will delete any and all posts that are outside of approved threads. If you continue to post self-promos when asked not to, you will be removed from the group, and possibly banned from ever re-joining. Thanks for respecting other members of the group.

If you honestly made a mistake, I get it, but one thing you should make yourself familiar with, is the group rules before you start posting.

If you would like to announce your books or promote yourself as an author, including blog posts, or contests, etc., use the Promotions section. We also have a Member-Authors section and you are free to post self-promotions in that section as well. Any excessive and unnecessary promotion of books is subject to deletion or editing by moderators.

I just deleted four posts from an author who was self-promoting against group rules. Overall, everyone has been doing great, so I apologize that these got through for a while without being addressed. The member has been warned that they are at risk for removal from the group. Thanks for those who are following the group guidelines.

I just deleted three author promos today. If you are an author, you are not supposed to be posting promos outside of the Member-Author and Promo section. If you continue to disregard the rules of the group, you can and will be removed from the group.

Hi, I just joined this group because I am presently writing an action/adventure series and I'd like to meet other writers in the same genre. I can't find the rules, especially about self-promotion. I don't want to break them lol.

I'm not even sure where to find these rules, either. But like you I am also presently writing an action / adventure series! Unfortunately, until I obtain a new computer or somehow gain my old one back, I won't be able to finish my lit. RPG-like series, at all. And I am so close to finishing it, at last!
