Kelly Green Hicks (kelly's bookish world) I ended up changing my selection to The Brilliant Life of Eudora Honeysett by Annie Lyons. I listened to it on audio and it was really good. I love a good curmudgeon story. It put me in mind of A Man Called Ove.

John Willis Kelly, I enjoyed Deacon King Kong quite a bit. The first part was a little hard getting into and I wasn't sure I would really enjoy it. But the further I got into it the more I couldn't put the book down.
