Hi guys!

The mods have decided that we need some more help around the group so we're looking for 2 new mods!

Please answer all the questions on the application:

1. Why do you want to be a moderator for this group?

2. Have you ever been a moderator of a group before? If you have, what did you do in that group?

3. Is there a specific topic you'd like to focus on? Like polls, challenges, or games?

4. Do you think you can bring a lot of new ideas to the group?

5. How much time do you think you can commit to the group?

1. Why do you want to be a moderator for this group?
I’ve been a member for a couple of months now. As Noni mentioned, the group has been quite inactive recently, and I want to help revive it, as well as give back to the group. Also, I want to be able to get experience as a moderator, for future groups.

2. Have you ever been a moderator of a group before? If you have, what did you do in that group?
Unfortunately, I haven’t been a moderator in any groups before, however I will soon be opening up and inviting people to my own group that I’m currently in the process of creating.

3. Is there a specific topic you'd like to focus on? Like polls, challenges, or games?
I don’t really mind, but preferably challenges.

4. Do you think you can bring a lot of new ideas to the group?
I have a few ideas right now for the group, but I’ll let you guys know if I have more:
- have a sort of debate of the week/fortnight - it could be about characters, books, authors etc. and by keeping it weekly/fortnightly it might mean more people get involved
(side note - perhaps every couple months we should take fantasy out of the option for BOTM, as I feel that a lot of the time that's the genre that gets voted the most, meaning that there's less variety in the BOTMs)
- with BOTMs, have more activities to give people an incentive to read them, for example have quizzes on the book, or debates about it etc.
- have a thread for specific recommendations, where people can ask for/recommend super specific books/books with those tropes

5. How much time do you think you can commit to the group?
I’m usually quite free, so I’ll be able to devote quite a few hours to the group.
