I love the idea of Lynn and Penn together. She gets along with Jasper and understands that Penn needs to make a life around him. She would never make him choose. Also, Lynn would be good for both Jasper and Penn. It is great that Jasper can talk to Lynn when he can't talk to Penn.
I agree 100% with Sharon. I'm looking forward to seeing more of Lynn and Penn. She already has a good relationship with Jasper and knows that he is a big part of Penn's life.
I hope that Lynne and Penn get a relationship, but we know from previous books in this series, that things don't always work out the way we would like for them to.
This put me in my happy place. I’ve thought for the last couple of books that Lynne and Penn made sense. And, I got a whiff in an earlier book that her engagement might be shaky. Five years? Give me a break.
I didn't think about the five year engagement, because I've known a couple friends/coworkers who were engaged that long. Some people like being engaged, but think long and hard about the "I do." I did think there was the potential of more between Penn and Lynne if the fiance left the scene.
I can see if they’re younger and extending the engagement. But at her age, it didn’t make sense.
For some reason, I thought that Lynne was older than Penn and didn't really see them as a couple before. However, in hindsight, and given Lynne's attachment to Jasper, they make sense together. Now if only Penn can see what right in front of him.
