I've read the Shatter Me books and I think Mafi's books are pretty good. Not all of them are great but she has a lot of diversity. A lot more than I see in other books.
I didn't read any books of her but it has been in my tbr for so long that now I'm thinking of picking one up. (If I get to finish the books I wanna finish this year)
Her writing is alright and I really loved her Furthermore books. However I'm not at all a fan of her Muslim representation, I was really disappointed with A Very Large Expanse of Sea, it was very 'apologetically Muslim' and very much catered as a 'we're not all bad!' book. It's aimed at non-Muslims, which isn't a bad thing when done right, but it just isn't done well, especially when she calls all women in burkas 'oppressed' and 'potato sacks'. Can Muslims stop pitting Muslims against Muslims?
