Ella, since you've already read Ella Enchanted 6 times I was wondering what is your favorite part of Ella Enchanted? What is your least favorite part?

I love Ella's character. Her wit and cleverness. And just the writing is so amazing, whenever I read it I was always noticing new things and it was a movie in my mind. I don't think I have a least favourite part...Though Lucinda, Hattie and Olive were infuriating. But they weren't necessarily my least favourite.

Yea, Ella is a pretty cool character and I love Ella and Char as a couple even the ending was just so sweet!
I think my least favorite part was when Ella's father tried to get an old guy to propose to Ella. Bleh!

I agree. I love Ella. She sees people as people instead of by how much money or status they have like her father, Sir Peter, or her stepfamily does. You're right she's also so clever and courageous, especially when she's (view spoiler)

You're right! They're sooo cute. It's great because you can see how they fit together as a couple and just how much they adore each other.
My favorite scene would probably be when they're (view spoiler) Ella's so happy and lighthearted because Char's there when she was so miserable and disheartened earlier. It shows just how much she treasures him and loves spending time with him.

Oh yeah I read it when it first came out. It's a prequel to Ella Enchanted and has mentions of her mother and her father as side characters. I thought that book was alright and gave it a three star. Did you have the time to read it?

I actually just got it from the library today! But I did hear that it wasn't great so I guess I'm more reading it because I wonder if I'll like it or not but we'll see.
Oh, and by the way I read Ella Enchanted a few years ago but I wanted to discuss the book with you guys. :)

I'm glad you were able to get a copy! Yeah...the romance in that one didn't really make sense to me since we didn't really get to see the two interact much and I spent most of the book feeling frustrated for the poor girl. Hope you enjoy it more than I did though!

Since you've already read the book I was wondering if it is something like the movie Shrek? You know since she turns into an ogre.

Oh that's such a clever comparison! Hm I don't think it's like the movie actually. There's basically nothing in common besides the girl turning into an orge part and even then, we knew how and why she's turned from the start. I like Ogre Enchanted better than Shrek though.

I tried Ogre Enchanted. I made it to the fifth page! LOL Well at least I tried it. Haha
I just couldn't get over the fact that when she was an ogre she wanted to eat poor Wormy. :(

Lol!! I'm glad you tried it. Yeah it's really weird, but I'm glad the author tried to make it realistic. It was just a bit too realistic for me. (view spoiler) Thanks for the sale notice! Do you mind posting about it in our Fairytale Giveaways? https://www.goodreads.com/topic/show/...
