Have you just read a really good book (or series!) or watched an amazing series? Are you looking for something new to read? Or maybe you need help getting out of a reading slump? Give your recommendations here and/or ask for some recommendations! (It doesn't necessarily have to be fantasy)

You should definitely at least read the first book! I stayed up until 2 am to finish it because I couldn't stop!!! Lots of intrigue and cool stuff, it's one of the best middle-grade books I've read!

i agree entirely, i stayed up until 1 in the morning reading the third book because i was trying to finish the first four books so i could read the fifth went it came out - also it was just that good :)

There is no cussing at all. There isn't really any inappropriate stuff. Other than kissing. XD. Tho..there was this funny meme about it that said:

Ah! Don't you love children books? 27 pages in and a child has already been killed

(Now only people who have read the book will understand this) but it's a super good series! I would recommend it for ages 11 -100.

My mom has even read it! and she loved it!

Avery Judd (averyisabelle) I recommend the World Whisperer series by Rachael Devenish Ford! There’s 5 books in this series and she’s still working on them. She’s not a super well known author, but she is Christian and works that into her writing. If you love Narnia I definitely recommend this!!

Hi....I did just finish a beautiful series actually...designed for a middle grade perhaps or else a busy adult to still longs to be encouraged while enjoying a shorter, less tedious at times, read ;) It's the Looking for Home series by Arleta Richardson. A four book collection based on the true experiences of a boy named Ethan, who at age 8, needed to care for his three younger siblings while in an orphanage and during the orphan train experience/adoption afterwards.... Totally immersing!

message 43: by [deleted user] (new)

The Baxter Children Family by Karen Kingsbury is set for 9-11 yo, but I throughly enjoyed them, and I think anyone would!

message 44: by Avery (new)

Avery Judd (averyisabelle) All of a Kind Family is one I enjoyed when I was younger, but still enjoyed now! The story is about a Jewish family and their many adventures. The series goes till the oldest gets married, I can’t quite remember how many are in the series. It’s very fun :)
