That is a very impressive booklist!Aside from the Le Guin I'm reading, I'm partway through a Victorian Fae novel called Under the Pendulum Sun by Jeannette Ng for a book club. It is interesting so far.
Technically I have about 15+ books I am 'reading' but in truth I've got only a few I am actively working on. I just finished A Grief Observed by CS Lewis (this was incredibly powerful and his journey mirrored my own). I am currently reading Black Hawk Down by Mark Bowden, The Eyes Have It by Rose Estes (I am trying to finish one of the early D&D series....its a struggle), and The Two Towers by Tolkien.
I wish I could put thumbs-up on posts or little waffles or something. Right now I'm hip-deep in my NaNo novel, which completely changed course yesterday, but that's OK, I think that the two storylines are going to intersect.I mean, seriously, who raises their kid to be a criminal political mastermind?
Finishing up the Le Guin reading - next I'm going to dive into my assigned reading for the Hugo's event, which is Rebecca Roanhorse's Black Sun.
My SPACE class is putting together a list of al the book recs that have come up in class: https://www.goodreads.com/review/list...

In case you're interested, this is the list of books that Verlyn Flieger refers to casually during her World of Middle-earth course!
