Ben Nash | 64 comments I just saw this over at the Tor.com blog.

I'm eager to jump into these stories, but we have to wait until September?

Between that and Neil's new magazine 2015 should be a great year for novellas!

Mark Gelineau | 5 comments really excited for these. Following them pretty closely. Matt Wallace's one looks great, and I am really interested in Daniel Polansky's novella as well.

Sylvia Spruck Wrigley (akasylvia) | 2 comments I'm really excited for these too. Just got the galley for mine yesterday and apparently there are copies of them floating around Worldcon. All a bit surreal!

Sylvia, I got a a chance to see your cover and the write up for Domnall and the Borrowed Child at the Tor site. Looks awesome. Very excited to get my hands on it.

Bunny | 327 comments I'm finding that novellas are really a good length for me right now. A little over scheduled at present, and ths form is long enough to develop a story but short enough that I can still follow the plot through to completion before my exhausted brain gives out on me.

My writing partner and I are doing exclusively novellas right now, and I am really falling in love with the form for exactly the reasons you mention.

Megan (meganokeefe) I was lucky enough to give some of these away at the Drinks With Authors party at Worldcon, and they're gorgeous - really great quality. I was a little concerned that the novella length would feel flimsy as a paperback but that wasn't the case at all.

And of course I sneaked a peek at the first chapters, and the writing is top notch! Domnall and the Barrowed Child, Genrenauts, and Every Heart a Doorway really hooked me straight off.
