which book did you guys like better? and why? :D

Soc is better than CK sometimes, but in another way, CK is better than SoC in some ways. I honestly can't choose!

and same, both are awesome in different ways, but if I had to choose, I'd say ck

cause first there is wylan and secondly we see more development in kanej. plus I cared more for the characters in crooked kingdom so I was more concerned about what would happen to them and that got me hooked.

tho I rlly rlly loved SoC, I liked SoC's plot better as there was one big heist whereas ck had many small ones. (I like it just a little better) plus ck broke my heart bc of matthias so in that way SoC was better xD

I wouldve answered the question but i forgot what happens in what book and like what events happen in soc and which one happen in ck

Hold up i remember soc is when they break into the ice court and ck is where they get inej back and overthrow waylan's father. I feel like i liked ck cuz of its plot but like soc cuz of its romance. Ck had no romance.

SoC. The heist was so amazing and CK was a bit sad. I’d love it better if Nina and Mathias got their happy ending too. Tbh.

That’s a bit heartless of her lol. I’m not looking for HEAs most of the time but I got attached to the crows and I wanted all my babies to be happy. :(

they're both so good... I can't choose. the thing is, they are both so different from each other in both writing and character development. It's nearly impossible to debate and have a valid point. both are amazing in their own way!

I was also kind of disappointed at the end of CK when Kanej didn't really develop and grow bigger.

Yeah! At every part in the book, I was thinking, "Okay, they're going to kiss soon" but they didn't!

it terms of heists SoC is far superior. the banter and idk the sense it's a standard quest fantasy story is stronger in SoC eg they are a part of a gang, they are working for money they break into a prison etc. HOWEVER in terms of character development, CK is it. We get to learn why everyone ticks, the nuances of kanej and why they have such a will they won't they relationship and tbh I am a sucker of character driven stories so CK is slightly just slightly my fave. also I feel that the tension is more palpable in CK. sorry for the essay lol

I think they are pretty equal, SoC has more interesting heist but TCK is more dramatic.

Crooked Kingdom :) Well, I think I like it more than SoC, to be honest, I already knew the characters and cheered for them even more ^^

same actually, SoC was awesome, but I liked how the relationships developed in CK plus we got wylan's perspective.

I feel like I understood the plot to CK better but some parts in SoC were way better than CK. So I think I love them both equally 😭

CROOKED KINGDOM. I found parts of SoC dry but CK was just amazing.. like I couldn’t put it down it was so good!!!
