Kenna came here, holding the scissors like a weapon. She looked around nervously, before climbing a tree and hiding.
She walked over and knelt, her water bottle in one hand, but she gasped when he bottle hit the ground. There was no water. It was a trick.
Slightly panicked, she placed the bottle away and sighed before standing up and looking around. She needed to find water.
Kenna spotted a girl struggling to get water. Tentatively, she climbed down the tree, scissors still held in front of her defensively. "Hello?" She asked.
“Yeah, hi?” Acacia replied, making her voice slightly gruff. Even so, she didn’t want underestimate the kid, though she’d never kill a child that age unless her life was being threatened.
“Yeah. Weird ground.” She kept both eyes on both other tributes, though.
((should Acacia and Kenna team up as allies? I'm cool with it if you are))
(Yeah, sure!)Kenna felt a little better now that she had a strong-seeming ally on her side. Maybe even two, depending on whether Jacob joined them or not.
Kenna exhaled. "That was a close one. Or maybe it wasn't. I don't know. I'm not good at reading situations like these." She looked up at the fellow redhead.
Kenna nodded unsurely. "Wow. I-I've not really practiced with weapons. I just planned on hiding. Everyone's gonna see me as an easy target, which I am, so-" she stopped her ramble midsentence. "Sorry. I talk a lot when I'm nervous."
Kenna said, "Thank you. Really. And the chance of being reaped starts at 11, so..." she shrugged. "Really, none of us should be here." She paused. "I don't think there's water here; just illusions. Should we look somewhere else?"
"So... where should we go? Probably somewhere that's mostly unoccupied." Kenna looked to Acacia for guidance.
"Okay. I heard there was a cave or something. That sounds... easy to defend. There probably isn't any water there, though. Should we go to the Cornucopia and scavenge whatever's left?"
"Yeah, sure," Kenna said. She started walking, but stopped and said, "Wait. What supplies do you already have?"

Hazelle was completely out of breath, she had never run so much in her life. A weird slime cover her, from head to toe and it was slathered onto her cut. Once they got to the trees, they both came to a stop as the anthem played and faces as well as district numbers where shown in the sky. Hazelle let out a soft gasp, "Oh my.." Nine tributes where dead out of the original twenty-four. She put the hand that wasn't in Charlotte's hand over her mouth and began to whisper prayers, even though she didn't kill all of the tributes in the sky. "Please, heaven and goddess of the stars, let these wonderful and unfortunate people into your gates. Let them become stars in your skies and let them shine. Please let them be remembered and never forgotten. I will never forget them as long as I live" Hazelle muttered this under her breath as she moved the hand over her mouth to put three fingers to her mouth instead. Tears crawled down her cheeks as she looked over at Charlotte, "Are you okay? Did you get hurt at all?" She asked with concern.
Hazelle smiled slightly when Charlotte did the salute that she usually did with her prayers when she had the time. She slid to the ground next to the other girl and let out a tired sigh, "It's alright though, we're fine now. And as safe as we could be" She didn't really want to concern her friend with her own feelings, so she just shrugged, "I'm alright, I want a bath though" She said with a small laugh. To get her bag, she had to shift around to take weight off of her leg, but she ended up doing that and taking her backpack and bow plus quiver off of her back. "Now, we obviously need water. Do you have a water bottle or something to put water in? If you don't I could probably try and make something out of leaves or bark."
When Charlotte pointed out her leg, Hazelle just waved it off, "I probably just cut it on a rock or something, I'm fine" Or at least she hoped she would be fine. Even if the wound wasn't made by a knife, she could still get blood poisoning if she wasn't careful.
Hazelle moved and glanced at the other girl, "Okay, that's alright" She started, panicking slightly though she tried to use a calmer tone, "I'll try and use my hands to cup some water up. If it doesn't word, maybe bark from the trees or the leaves will work" And with that, she got up onto her feet, with struggle, and walked over to what she thought was water. Hazelle carefully bent down and went to cup some water into her hands, but her hands stayed dry. "Dang it!" She exclaimed out loud as she stood up and walked back to Charlotte, "It's fake. It's all fake!" After several moments, she calmed down, "Maybe it's a good time to ask for gifts from sponsers?" She asked with a sigh.
“Yeah, I’m sorry. And okay…I can help too,” she added and began to stand up, but she also wanted to make sure she was nearby in case Hazelle collapsed; she had struggled a bit standing, it seemed, Charlotte then followed her but felt some of her hope vanish and panic rose when she saw that there was no water. “No,” she whispered, and immediately imagined dying in the arena with shriveled lips and a shriveled tongue and—a shiver wracked her body and she inhaled sharply and then let her breath out with a nod. “Maybe…no, definitely,” she agreed. “How does this work?” She tilted head back to the sky. “Uh…hi, don’t know if anyone can hear us, but we really need water? May we please have some?” She questioned as politely as she could just in case anyone charitable was listening and watching. Though with the way the president hated Hazelle’s family, she didn’t know if they’d get anything.
"I know but still, I'm alright for now, we shouldn't waste any supplies on such a small thing" Hazelle said, trying to dismiss the matter for the time being.
When she found that the water was fake, she almost wanted to lay down and die just like that. What was the point? Her mind muttered. But Hazelle decided to stay stong for the other girl. "It's okay, maybe the trees have water? Can I have that knife of yours?" She asked since she knew that asking for sponsers was probably a lost cause because of what she said in the past and in current time.
With a nod, Charlotte handed her the knife. “How do you plan to get water from the tree with a knife?” She asked, browns furrowed. “Wouldn’t we need a spout or something?” But she wanted to try and trust Hazelle in this. She wanted to stick with her and they both needed water after that fog.

There is no water that reflects the trees, it is simply how the forest works. It mirrors real life and you can see it and walk on it and everything. It can be messed with though. The monster that lives there is invisible and you cant see them unless you come across water, which you won't. Good Luck and may the odds be ever in your favour.
