Alexander and Jaryn ended up here together, stopping short and breathing hard. Jaryn had no idea there was a girl following them at all, but Alexander did. As Jaryn groaned in fear and collapsed, Alexander turned and looked around.
“Someone’s following us.”
“Someone’s following us.”

Alexander laughed and removed two knives from the bag as Jaryn staggered to his feet and grabbed his trident.
"I don't think so," he stated.
"I don't think so," he stated.
((is Leelah a cheapo?))
"I think we do," Alexander stated. "You're trying to kill us, plus...you have no weapons and we have countless ones."

((kk. Alexander is too))
"Oh, wait!" Jaryn called. He placed a hand on Alexander's arm. "Wait. I misheard her. Yes, I'd like another ally." He dropped his trident, and Alexander frowned.
"Okay, fine. But if she tries to kill us..."
"She's unarmed."
Alexander just grunted and placed the knives away.

"Yes, finally you see reason!" She clapped her hands condescendingly, before sticking one out for a handshake. "Leelah Nyork, District 5. Nice to meet'cha." (Why am I imagining Harley Quin lmao.)
((yup!))
Alex scowled when she clapped, and Jaryn just sighed. "Sorry about that. Really. I'm Jaryn Cartsworth, District 4. Nice to meet you too. This is Alexander, District 8, I think,"
He nodded. "So how do we know you won't kill us?"
((oh my gosh haha))

Beck runs here. "Jaryn! Who are they?"
Jaryn turned and saw his district mate. "Beck!" He called. "This is Alexander, he saved my life. And this..." He nodded at the girl, "is Leelah. She's unarmed. Here, why don't you join us? We can have strength in numbers, then there will be four of us," he suggested.
"Yeah, why not!" Beck replied. Beck glared at Leelah.
Jaryn sighed. "Leelah, calm down. She's an ally, okay?"
Alexander snorted again. "And I trust Beck already more than you. And we can say the same, I've never heard of a Leelah before either."
"Guys!" Jaryn snapped. "Come one, stop fighting. If we want to survive we need to work together. Three of us have backpacks."

"Guys!" Jaryn snapped. "Come one, stop fighting. If we want to survive we need to work together. Three of us have backpacks."
Beck nodded. "I've got a knife, some matches and some soup!"
"Good. And I have a trident, some chips, some ice, and a blanket."
Alexander added, "I have some knives, small bag of peanuts, more ice, and an empty water bottle. And your personality needs help," he added to Leelah, but Jaryn glared at him.

Beck glared, "I don't like her." she whispered to Jaryn.
Jaryn sided up next to Beck. "Me neither," he whispered back.
Alexander glared. "Fine," he snapped, and did it, and Jaryn handed his ice over, too.

"Yeah, an alliance as long as you don't upset us. Because I don't think any of us like you," Alex told her.

Beck glared "Nope, we don't." And with a quick slice with her knife, Leelah lay dead and the cannon went off.
((oh man I didn't see that coming))
Jaryn started at Beck in horror and then turned around. "No! no, no, no that's not what I meant by we don't like her!" He yelled. He couldn't look at the blood. It was making him sick.

Beck shrugged. "It was an accident. My knife just sorta popped out and stabbed her!"

"Oh, an accident, huh?" Jaryn gasped, breathing hard. "That was completely not an accident and--and--"
"Dude, how come no one volunteered to take your place?" Alexander asked. "You can't handle any of this."
"I shouldn't have to," he gasped.

"Oh, come on," Jaryn told her. "You're just being mean now. So what is our next play?"
Alexander shrugged. "Just stay away from anyone else, I guess."
Alexander shrugged. "Just stay away from anyone else, I guess."
"No, we kill other people off." Beck said.
Jaryn grimaced. He didn't like this at all; Beck was much too go-go-go for his liking. He didn't want to kill anyone off unless he had to. "Or we stay hidden unless we absolutely have to," he countered.
"If you want to win, you have to pluck off at least the minor people to get to the big people. Plus, it might make the audience like us so the gamemakers don't pluck Us off."
Beck rolled her eyes. "Do you wanna stay alive? Or not?"
Beck sighed. "Fine, I'm cool with that. But if you die cuz you were merciful, then I won't be sorry because it's your fault."
"Huh, sucks to be you." Beck says.
He rolled his eyes. "Actually, I'd rather be me. Everyone else here is too violent and at least if I die, I'll die knowing I'm not a vicious bloodthirsty monster."
