Promotion Place - December
Hi Sophia, Hoping it's OK to mention that Susan: A Jane Austen Prequel is now an audiobook - and that free promo codes are available. (If anyone is as new as I am to this, this means that, if you listen to audiobooks and would consider leaving an honest review for mine, just give me a yell - here or on social media - and ask for a freebie!!) The audiobook is only a month old but all the US codes have been given out: I still have UK codes, though. Here is the link to the novel, if you'd like to check it out first (NONE of the 112 reviews are for the audiobook - yet!!!) https://www.amazon.com/Susan-Austen-P...
Thanks so much!!!!

I have been visiting it every day, but it will not allow me to make a comment. As soon as I type one letter in the comment box the page resets to empty and there is no contact listed on the page.

Happened to me, too. I think it has glitches.

Me too, I sent an email to Janet Taylor and she said they were aware of it and had notified the developer. Hopefully, they can fix it.
Yeah, it's really hard to leave a comment but if you keep clicking back into the box and persevering you eventually can get a comment typed. Total faff but do-able, depending on how determined you are to get a comment posted :P
I wrote a comment separately and then copied it to quickly paste it into the comment box but it still disappeared on me.
@22: Wow! Silver Thistle, you were certainly persevering. I am impressed that you figured it out for us. Great job.
Yeah, J. W., I wanted to let them know that the free promo book on day 4 (I think it was 4) was showing as £6.55 in the UK so I had to keep at it! It went free shortly afterwards so it was worth the effort :)

(I just got a warning that this may not be the proper place to post this…I'm trying to put it in the Promotion Place…my apologies if it's not in the right place. I'm so bad at this…)
Hi, Jeanette, we were on a panel together a few years ago at the JASNA Bay Area Austen birthday event—nice to see you popping up! You are absolutely in the right place but I think Goodreads objects to including links to external Web sites, which may be why you got the warning.
Oh neat, Jeanette!
I'll be checking that one out.
And, yes, right here is THE place for your sale book. :)

Have you seen the Meryton Press advent calendar today? Perilous Siege by C P Odom is free.https://merytonpress.com/santa-press-...
Anngela Schroeder's 2021 Christmas novella, Comfort and Joy: A Pride and Prejudice Novella is scheduled to release December 17 and already up for pre-order on Amazon. Today's www.AustenVariations.com post has an excerpt from Chapter 2. (There was an excerpt from Chapter 1 on October 25.) I see that Ceri also hosted Anngela on her https://babblingsofabookworm.blogspot... with an excerpt from later in the story.I had the pleasure of editing the book, and it's absolutely adorable. Darcy and Elizabeth are stranded in a hunting lodge during a snowstorm. Okay, before you start thinking you've read THAT storyline before, believe me, you haven't! That's thanks to three little girls - Elizabeth's two nieces and their friend - who are stranded with them. Apparently, Emily Gardiner is a childhood version of Elizabeth Bennet, and when she and her friend Katie Joy are together...! Well, they steal every scene they're in as they innocently help Elizabeth fall in love with Darcy. And the plot includes magical Christmas fairies. Gotta love it!
I love her books and this one really sounds like a cutie, Debbie. Congrats on being part of making it come to life. :)
