Oops! Forgot to start this sooner. What do people think? Also, I think folks might find his poem The Ballad of Reading Gaol interesting to read.

Selena Pigoni (sailorstar165) | 48 comments I thought De Profundis was interesting, but the entire time all I could think was, "Wow, this is one toxic as hell relationship." It's a shame it ended with Wilde being punished and not the jerk 'friend'

Courtney | 49 comments Selena, I'm glad I'm not the only one! I'm partway through but likewise kept thinking how toxic the relationship seemed.

I appreciate Wilde's reflections on love vs. hate, but I think choosing love was not the core issue with a dysfunctional dynamic.
