2020 In Literature discussion

I haven't read this one yet, but it's on the top of my to-read pile.

There were obvious plot issues with this book. It was not perfect and some characters needed a bit more work However, I found the storyline riveting and couldn't wait to find out what was behind all the mysteries popping up.

I agree, Jennifer. I wanted to find out what happened but it had flaws. The ghostly aspects wee a unique addition to a traditional murder mystery but it made everything get wrapped up too neatly for my taste.

The book caught my attention with the ghosts and mystery aspects, but I have to say I had picked the murderer by the 1st 50 pages. I did keep reading to make sure I was correct though as I think students will keep doing. Though flawed it will be a hit with those students who love a mystery book. Not to mention that it was a quick read which is a plus with some students.
