Hecate walks in here after rushing out of the ballroom. "Ugh I had no want or desire to pretend to fawn over the prince." she thinks to herself. "Oh your Highness, thank you so much for blessing me with your presence. Please tell me more!" she jokes to herself out laud pretending to fawn but ending up just bursting into laughter.

April stood at the door, witnessing the woman joke around and laugh at her own joke. April wondered why she sounded quite sarcastic while mentioning the prince, 'Wasn't she a selected?' she wondered.

It wasn't long for the woman to notice her. April's lavender-scented armour could be smelt from a mile away. April knocked on the door to the woman's room lightly, "Excuse me?" Her deep but smooth voice was mixed in with Hecates laughter.

Hecate freezes hearing another voice. She quickly spins around to face the woman. “Oh” she says softly looking her up and down. “She smells like lavender” was her first thought comforted by the smell. “What’s your name?” She asks curiously walking closer to her

April's breath hitched as the woman walked closer to her. She suddenly realised she was just looking at the selected girl dazedly. She was at work, she needed to act like it. She stood in attention stance, her chest out and her hand on her sword. April swallowed down her saliva and answered. "April Lee Monroe, Lady Hecate."

“April, I like it” she says walking even closer her eyes twinkling mischievously seeing the girls reaction. “I guess you already know my name, don’t you?” She says hearing April call her Lady Hecate. “No need to be so formal” she says flicking her hand absentmindedly at her stance.

April's eyes widened as Hecate moved even closer, reflexively moving a step back to bring some space between them. She allowed her shoulders to relax, just a few centimetres, but nothing else. It didn't help that she was stuttering too much, seeing the mischievous glint in her eyes. She felt flustered for no particular reason. "I-i just came here to ch-check if there was an-anything wrong, seeing that you left the b-ballroom so quickly." She looked away from the woman so that Hecate couldn't see that she felt shy. "N-now th-that I've made s-sure..."

"Aw were you worried for me?" she teases. She smirks seeing how much she was stuttering. "Your leaving already?" she questions hearing her go quiet

April fake coughed, standing up as straight as a needle. "Well, you, Lady Hecate, and the other selected are my responsibility. We were told to keep an eye on all of you." She miraculously got her guts back and was able to keep her demeanour as a guard, intact.

She nodded. "I left my position to check on you. I must go back."

"Oh, so I will be seeing you around then? Good." she says nodding absentmindedly. She hides a smile seeing that she seemed to be getting more confident.

April nodded, a slight smile playing on her pink lips, "I'll be guarding your rooms every night." She realised she was getting off topic. "Well, aren't you coming as well? You're supposed to mingle with the other selected now, not to mention Prince Aaron." She asked.

“Oh definitely not” she says rolling her eyes. “I have had my fill of being a good selected girl for the day” she says walking away from her and sitting down at the window seat.

Evangeline was here when both of the women walked in. She was looking around the room, taking photos of the palace. It was such a beautiful place. She was about to take another photo when they both walked in. '𝘖𝘰𝘱𝘴.' Evangeline quickly shut down her camera.

Hecate finally notices the other girl. “Oh, I didn’t see you there? What’s your name?” She asks her waving her over

"Evangeline Covey." She answers. "And you?" Evangeline asked.

“Hecate” she says purposefully not adding her last name. “What are you doing in here?” She asks looking her over.

Evangeline shrugged, "I guess I just wanted to get away. There's a lot of pressure." She muttered. "How about you? What are 𝘺𝘰𝘶 doing out here, Hecate?" Evangeline asked, playfully adding her name.

She smiles happy she had included her name. “Oh I was just escaping that dreadful courting thing.” She says amused. “What is it you call it? Being a selected?” She says

April sighed exasperatedly, she was finding her behaviour very suspicious. Lady Hecate sounded like she had no desire to become the Prince's wife, and that was worrying.

She felt even more flabbergasted when Lady Hecate was being so coy about such an important event. "Well, Lady Hecate, Lady Evangeline, I'll take my leave. But please do come back to the ball, I think the Prince would be pleased if you both came back." The guard turned to make her leave. She was too confused to think straight.

[I feel too stood out in this rp, this girl's a guard while your characters are selected XD Also, how do you guys want this to play out?]

Evangeline shook her head, closing her eyes. "Of course. Sorry." She grabbed her camera and sighed. "I suppose I got a little too caught up in my photography. My apologies." She bowed and headed towards the door, to take her leave.

“Evangeline wait!” Hecate calls after her. She waits for her to pause before continuing. “Would you want to go to the gardens with me sometime? I bet there are a lot of pretty things to take pictures of there.” She says

April smiled softly as Lady Hecate asked Lady Evangeline for hanging out sometime. In her opinion, seeing selected who got alone was much better than seeing selected that fought with each other.

She wondered if she'd have time to follow them around. With two beautiful ladies like these two, it would be nice to know their beauty secrets....and maybe have a good look at both of them from a distance. She realised it was not her place to roam around with the selected, she smiled at them. "I guess I'll see you both during night duty. Farewell, for now, Lady Hecate, Lady Evangeline." She bowed slightly and walked away.

[I kinda feel Hecate and Evangeline would get together first since both are selected and its easier XD And April would probably be hiding in the bushes witnessing everything XD But hopefully things go par to as we discussed before XD]

Hecate smiles. “I wish I could have invited that charming guard also but I didn’t know how that would come across” she thinks to herself before leaving also
