Evie had somehow found herself stuck in the infirmary on the first day of school, but no one really seemed surprised at all which was rude thank you very much!... But it was also not exactly something she could be mad about considering the bright and fish-oil smelling paint spots that still remained on her skin, hiding light bruises beneath caused by the force of the paintball guns. She let out a loud groan and threw her head back against the pillow of the Infirmary bed three times before huffing loudly, not being able to sit still like always. It wasn't even her faul- okay so maybe it was but still! Don't challenge Evie to anything if you don't want a paintball fight or something equally childish. It should really be more known than it was. Those kids were being buttheads though so she couldn't help but not feel bad for the damage she caused to their clothes, hair, and skin. She was helping their aesthetic appearances alright?!
A short eleven year old girl skipped into the infirmary. She seemed quite comfortable in the space for it to be her first year at the school, but she'd been here more then most students. Often visiting when her parents were working, since she was born and raised on the island where they all were currently.
While she at first glance was your average kid, short blonde hair that stuck out slightly, stripped shirt, and grass stained pants, runners on her feet. Yet two white ears poked out from just above where her ears would be found, a long white and black striped tail flicked back and forth behind her, her eyes were a striking blue with cat like pupils, and her hands were pawed.
She walked up to the sink on front wall of the room, taking a plastic cup, she jumped up onto the counter with ease. Turing on the tap she let water fill the cup before setting it aside and stood on the counter. She kicked off her shoes, as two more paws replaced her feet. Opening the top cabinet, she froze hearing someone groan, and turned guiltily towards Evie.
The trouble-prone and spotaneous redhead perked up at the sound of someone prancing into the room, raising herself up on her forearms to look right at the small half-feline girl, and her face lit up with excitement.
"Hi! What's up, my name's Evie! What's yours? I'm soooo bored ugh but it's nice to meet you!" She spoke in rapid fire sentences, her words almost succeeding in keeping up with her thoughts that were almost as fast as a bullet.
"Ah sorry, I'm a bit of a mess. It was a paintball fight, you know how it is- or maybe you don't in which case you are lucky cause my body is reallyreallyreally sore and I don't want to move from this exact spot until I'm 57 but I also have an immense urge to steal cake cake from the kitchens and I can't do that when my body wants to kill me and I look like a rainbow threw up on me in the form of paint balls. Wait, that would actually be so fun, do you want to do that?! It's totally fine if you don't though- you're adorable by the way- I'm cool with just talking too!" It took her just a moment s of silence before she realized that she was talking at the poor child instead of with her, to which she cringed sheepishly, calming herself down. "Ah, sorry about that, I get wayy too excited sometimes, especially when I've been alone for too long."
(Did I cause her hyperactivity to flare up terrifically because I was bored and missed her terrifying everyone with her over-hypedness? Perhaps)
Mia covered her ears, normally she herself was also very loud and boisterous, but right now she was having one of her shiftings. They were quite annoying since every sense of hers was stronger, her human features would go away, and eventually she would become the enormous white tiger that the entire island hated running around.
"It's okay, I'm Mia, Mia Hutton," she announced.
She had probably been mentioned at least once or twice around most people, for a few reasons, one she played pranks on everyone, two she was one of the few children that had never seen the outside world (a lot of families moved to the island, but not to many stayed and never left), and of course the entire tiger situation.
Opening one of the cabinets she took out a pile bottle, with her name on it, and all the details. She held it up making sure it was the right one before sitting down on the counter again, her ears were flicking from side to side and her tail twitched. Unable to figure out the child proof lid, she opened her mouth and held onto the cap with sharp feline teeth. Pulling it open by force.
