Heather | 8550 comments In your opinion, what is the most crazy piece of art you’ve ever seen? If you don’t have a picture of it you can just describe it in words.

Where did you see it?
Why is it crazy? In what way?
How did it make you feel? Who was the artist, do you know?

Anything else you’d like to say?

Albin Winters | 109 comments Damien Hirst's dead shark. This is so far from art that I haven't the vocabulary for it.

Jimmy | 61 comments The blank canvas that is part of "Take the Money and Run," by Jens Haaning, at the Kunsten Museum of Modern Art in Aalborg, Denmark. The piece is part of an exhibition called Work It Out, which explores people's relationship with work. The money was supposed to be used to create modern art.

Heather | 8550 comments Wow Albin and Jimmy! Great ones!

I agree with you on the dead shark, Albin. Actually most of Damien Hirst’s works are crazy to me. For example, the maggots eating the cow’s head. That is crazy and disgusting, IMO.

Jimmy, I have heard of the blank canvas being a work of art. I never knew what it was called and didn’t know how to look up “blank canvas artwork”?? You know a lot more than I do. I guess one would have to have the imagination to come up with the title and ‘intent’. But it’s crazy, that’s for sure.

And can you see someone sitting on a stool and staring at it while visiting a museum? Like, what are you looking at, the title? “Working it out” in your head how this person can actually get a blank canvas into the art world? Lol

Or maybe working out ‘people’s relationship with work’ is represented by Haaning as they don’t do anything at all, as he didn’t do anything at all with his canvas?

Jimmy | 61 comments I think I could stare at a blank canvas for a long time. I have stared at a blank sheet of paper trying to write.
