For those that have written a script they know how much a pain in the ass they are. And let's face it they are your script's first impression to producers, so they need to be top of line. Here's your chance at practice writing them.

this is the standard formula:

protagonist + inciting incident + protagonist's goal + central conflict.

Here's an example of a good logline:

When a killer shark unleashes chaos on beach community off Long Island, it's up to a local sheriff, a marine biologist, and an old seafarer to hunt the beast down.
